DO YOU EVEN KNOW YOURSELF?

Writer: doaadoaa

Every human being has a character. This character does not develop instantly; it has been given to us since birth. Over time, we shape our character with the help of life experiences. At first, we learn to speak, which allows us to express our ideas freely. These ideas influence the way we act and help others form an understanding of who we are. As we interact with others, a connection forms between their perspectives and our own. This exposure to different viewpoints enables us to think differently and develop our thoughts as various ideas pass through our minds. These factors shape us into who we are today.

Our character develops nonstop. Every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute, every second… This might sound crazy to you, but let’s look at it from a different view than you have ever thought! For example, many people go to workplaces or schools even if they feel they aren’t learning anything. However, it’s important to remind them that our brain is constantly seeking new knowledge every passing second. This “learning” frame should not always have to be something written or connected to scientific knowledge. It could be something as basic as an apple being red or a human having ten fingers. This new knowledge leads us to one significant thing: the development of character. As already mentioned, character consumes every part of us. Any kind of development that we do to ourselves technically leads us to have a development in our character. Even without realizing it, you may absorb new information without knowing the cause. As a result, you might find yourself acting differently from previous times, which is directly connected to the change in character.

Sometimes, as human beings, we wonder why we have acted in a strange way that we have never even thought about acting. This and many variations of the same questions are made by ourselves to ourselves. They all lead to the same answer: the development of character.

Now, do you think you even know yourself after reading this blog?
